The court cards consists of pages, knights, queens and kings. There are four of each, one for each of the four suits. These cards represent one of two things, either an individual person, or a particular meaning. Each interpretation is subjected to the reader’s intuition, knowledge of the cards and experience. As these court cards can be referring to a person, each are viewed as pertaining to an age range of someone having to do with the querent (seeker).
Pages – up to the age of 25. Knights – between 25 and 45, a single-minded effort toward goals. Queens – any age as queens denote a receptivity and willingness depending on the suit. Kings – 45 and over, culmination or accomplishment.
Fire = wands/clubs (same as clubs); Water = cups/hearts; Earth = pentacles/diamonds; Air = swords/spades.
